Day 1 & 6
Makassar
Makassar is the largest city in Celebes, known for seafood and meat. Maros, an hour north, has ancient karst formations. Leang Leang in Rammang Rammang has cave art paintings and is accessible by a 15-minute boat trip.
Day 2-5
Tana Toraja
South Sulawesi offers a unique cultural experience with ancient tribal homes, megalith displays, and a special funeral ceremony. The north area has stunning viewpoints and unique coffee.
Day 7-9
Komodo National Park
Komodo National Park is a chain of islands located west of Labuan Bajo, known for its Komodo dragons, jagged coastal cliffs, mountains, savannas, pink beach, and marine life.
Day 10-15
Bali
Stay in Ubud, a beautiful countryside with palaces, museums, cafes, and wellness centers. Be immersed with Balinese culture and nature. Walk the footsteps of Elizabeth Gilbert from the “Eat Pray Love” movie.

Itinerary
Makassar - Arrival
Welcome to Makassar. On arrival, you will then transfer to check-in at your accommodation, Meliá Makassar.
Tonight, experience a remarkable Paduppa and Pakarena dance performances while savoring authentic Bugis-Makassar cuisines at the city’s most iconic landmark, Fort Rotterdam, a colonial Dutch fortress built in 1545. Back to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Tana Toraja: Village Tour
Breakfast at the hotel. Check out then transfer back to the airport for your flight to Toraja and proceed on afternoon tour visiting Suaya village where the royal burial site is located. Continue to Burial site hidden inside a natural cave called Tampang Allo, where you can find a pile of bones and traditional wooden coffins.
End the day with visit to Sangalla Village burial site for deceased infants and the baby graves up in the huge tree at Kambira. Drive to your hotel, and check-in at Toraja Misiliana.
During your Sulawesi trip, all your meals and drinks are included (excluding alcoholic beverages) and will be served at local restaurant or hotel or in conjunction with your activities.

Tana Toraja: Traditional Funeral Ceremony
We will continue exploring the enigmatic culture of Toraja. Today, we will start with Lemo, home to one of Toraja’s most interesting burial sites. You will see the hanging graves and rows of “tau-tau” effigies. Next, you will visit Ke’te Kesu, a traditional Toraja village surrounded by rice fields.
From there, we will continue driving to Londa, one of the region’s oldest burial caves. Throughout the day, your guide will also actively look for an
opportunity for you to attend a local funeral ceremony more commonly known as 'rambu solo’.

Tana Toraja: Rafting Adventure and Picnic Lunch
After your breakfast, head to the Maiting River to start your private rafting adventure. Enjoy a scenic ride with a spectacular mountain panorama alongthe way (approx. 1.5 hours). Upon arrival at the Ma’dong village, you will get a short safety brief from the rafting guide. To reach the riverbank, we will need to trekking down for 30 minutes passing through traditional village and rice fields.
The rafting on this river is at level 2-3 (easy to moderate), during 4-5 hours of rafting is a fascinating way to explore waterfalls, canyons, cliffs, and wildlife such as some flocks of wild egrets, iguanas, and tropical birds that you will encounter along the way. A picnic lunch will be served by the river side in a box. Finishing with your rafting experience, we will return to your hotel in Rantepao.

Tana Toraja: Nature Trek & Torajan Dinner
Start the day with a visit to Lolai. Known as the 'Kingdom Above The Clouds', this place is known for its iconic sunrise view with ocean of clouds and distant towering mountains.
Afterwards, we will take you to the Bolu market, where you can find Toraja iconic animals such as Torajan white buffalo, pigs, poultry, and also local produces such as Toraja coffee, cloves, nutmeg and the infamous lada kattokon (Toraja Chilli) and many more.
After visiting the market then we continue drive to Loko’Mata stone graves that local use as a burial site and Bori megalithic stones. From here, we will slowly be trekking to Kandeapi village to Lempo. Enjoy the spectacular panorama along the path and your picnic lunch will be served along the way.
Wrap the day with a visit to Riu Village to immerse yourself in a unique dining experience by having authentic Torajan dinner and watching Ma’Gellu dance performance.

Makassar: Karsts & Caves
Enjoy your breakfast before your flight to Makassar. From the airport go straight to Rammang Rammang village. It lies over 43,750 hectares between The Karst of Maros and Pangkep regency. Maros Pangkep Karst is the second biggest Karst mountain in the world after South China Karst in Yunnan. The uniqueness of Karst Maros Pangkep region can’t be found in other karst areas in Indonesia. We will take a boat to discover the village. While crossing the river, we can enjoy the view of towering cliffs. The village offers a beautiful landscape with green rice fields surrounded by karst mountains, which will keep you busy if you love photography.
Continue to the Leang Leang pre-historic caves to see the hand prints on the cliff rock. guided directly by Drs. Iwan Sumantri, the resident archaeologist who first examined the cave in 1970s. Determined to be between 35-40 thousand years old, marvel at this amazing ancient treasure and the stories behind the initial excavation as well as the findings and their meaning to the history of Celebes.

Labuan Bajo: Onboard ALEXA
Enjoy your breakfast before your flight to Labuan Bajo. Set sail on your Komodo Islands private charter! An example of a 3-night itinerary is below, however it will be tailored to the activities you want to focus on and is changeable depending on weather and underwater currents at the time of the
charter.
The yacht will depart and cruise for a 2-hour to Sebayor island while you enjoy lunch on deck. Go for a swim and some relaxation on the beach before setting a sail towards Komodo island. You may wish to enjoy spa treatment from your personal spa therapist. Sunset drinks will be served on board before dinner on board whilst ALEXA will drop the anchor for the night.

Labuan Bajo: Komodo Dragons & Mantas
After an early light breakfast, get ready for a trek through Komodo’s “Savannah” in search of the legendary Komodo dragon. Meet your ranger who
will take you for an early trek across the bushes of the park. Spot the wild deers, and the peaceful buffaloes, and follow your guide on the trail of the
endemic Komodo Dragon. Heading back to the jetty and ALEXA, a well-deserved hearty brunch awaits, then a departure for the cruise towards the
Pink Beach.
This afternoon head out to Manta Point, you have the opportunity to swim or dive surrounded by Manta Ray as they circle in an underwater ballet around you.

Labuan Bajo: Padar Island & Beach BBQ
After an early breakfast, we head to Padar island where we anchor in a bay surrounded by stunning beaches. Padar island is the third-largest island in the Komodo National Park. It is famous for its long stretches of deserted white beaches.
The bays are also perfect for water sports such as kayaking and stand up paddling. ALEXA will spend the night on anchor in a secluded cove, and it is here we set up your beach barbecue on a soft white sandy beach. Star-gaze, relax and indulge in the freshest grilled seafood prepared especially for you by your Chef.

Bali: Heritage Welcome Dinner
After breakfast onboard, disembark your boat and take a car transfer to the airport for your flight to Bali. Upon arrival, you will be met for your private
transfer to Buahan, a remarkable wall free retreat and your home for the next five nights.
Enjoy your Balinese heritage dinner (communal sharing style) with the richness of Balinese spices with six sharing dishes, prepared with traditional
techniques at Buahan Open Kitchen.

Bali: Ulun Danu Bratan Temple & Jatiluwih Rice Terraces
"The sounds of the forest is what makes the trees here live and die"
Find out the meaning of the phrase in this signature trip. You will experience a pleasant 1 hour trek through the jungle while learning about the sounds of the forest and its correlation to their circle of life. Your trek finishes at a lakeside, where you will board on a traditional wooden canoe and ride along the lake while marveling at the beautiful panorama. At the end of the journey, you will disembark and enjoy a special Balinese al fresco brunch in the nature, where we set up the whole thing including your private chefs and butler.
Afterwards, head to Ulun Danu Bratan Temple, an iconic temple often seen on many a Balinese postcard. This temple is dedicated to the Balinese water goddess Dewi Danu and many ceremonies and offerings take place here.
Continue the drive to Jatiluwih Rice Terraces. Located on the foothills of Mt. Batukaru, this 53,000 hectares area is home to Bali's most iconic rice terrace. In this trip, you will have the option to walk / cycle through the rice fields to observe local farmers and learn about the different kinds of rice planted here, which includes the high quality red rice.
At the end of the trek, you will be taken to The Artist's Corner, a private and hidden section up the small hill where you will enjoy Balinese lunch.

Bali: Sidemen Countryside Experience
After breakfast, head out early from your hotel and transfer to Sidemen. Enjoy a half day exploring the beautiful Sidemen countryside. Meet local Balinese weavers and witness the ancient techniques passed down for generations. Then, go for a walk through the valley, see local working farmers
in the field and learn more about their everyday life. Gather together in the kitchen for a short cooking lesson to prepare three small Balinese specialties while learning more about local liquor and herbal drinks "jamu." Learn how to make Balinese offerings and how to write your name in Balinese Sanskrit on dry palm leave. Finally, enjoy traditional Balinese lunch in the middle of this lush sanctuary.
In the evening, experience a mesmerizing private Balinese Kecak and fire dance performance under the stars followed by Royal Rijsttafel dinner experience.
